MagMount plates attach to Versa58 scales, enabling them to magnetically connect to each other for standalone carry OR to snap onto MagDock for magnetic quick-swap on your SAK.

MagDock is a Versa58 scale that attaches mechanically to your 58mm Swiss Army Knife. Its embedded magnets create a docking point for other Versa58 scales that have MagMount plates attached, enabling instant magnetic swapping and satisfying fidget-friendly connections.

Together, they give you three ways to carry: mechanical attachment (default), standalone magnetic builds (pen+light combos, keychain tools), and magnetic quick-swap on your SAK (instant access, removable work light, fidget satisfaction).

Method 1: Mechanical Attachment (default)
Attach Versa58 scales directly to your SAK using the patent pending mechanical attachment. This is the default method, no magnets required.

Method 2: Standalone Magnetic Builds (MagMount)
Attach MagMount plates to two Versa58 scales so they magnetically snap together. Build pen+light combos, clip+storage setups, or any pairing for keychain or pocket carry—no SAK needed. Fidget factor is strong.

Method 3: Magnetic SAK Attachment (MagDock + MagMount)
Attach MagDock to your SAK, then attach MagMount plates to other scales. Those scales now snap magnetically to MagDock on your Swiss Army Knife for instant swapping and fidget-friendly connections.

Versa58 scales cannot attach directly to MagDock. They must have MagMount plates attached to connect magnetically. Without MagMount, scales will not align properly to MagDock and could fall off.

The system works like this:

• MagDock attaches to SAK (creates magnetic dock)
• MagMount attaches to scales (enables magnetic connection)
• Scale + MagMount snaps to MagDock on SAK
• For standalone builds: Two scales with MagMount plates snap together (no SAK needed)

Which configuration should I choose?
Complete Kit if you want both standalone builds and SAK magnetic capability. MagDock Only if you already own MagMount. MagMount Only if you want standalone builds or already own MagDock.

Can I use MagDock without MagMount?
No. MagDock requires MagMount plates on other scales to function. Scales cannot attach directly to MagDock.

How strong are the magnets?
Strong enough for secure daily carry, easy enough to separate intentionally. The magnetic connection is tuned for both functionality and satisfying fidget factor.

Can I still use standard mechanical attachment?
Yes. The magnetic system is optional. All Versa58 scales attach mechanically by default. Magnetic capability is an add-on, not a replacement.

Will this damage my Swiss Army Knife?
No. MagDock installs like any other Versa58 scale with no permanent modification to your SAK.

What tools are required for installation?
None. MagDock attaches mechanically like other Versa58 scales. MagMount plates attach to scales in seconds.

Is this fidget-friendly?
Yes. The magnetic interface creates smooth, crisp, tactile interaction that many users find highly satisfying.

Can I add more MagMount plates later?
